To everything there is a season. Whether you are an excited couple ready to be married, or a grieving family needing to honour someone who has died, I will listen to your stories and your ideas, your feelings and your convictions, and your wants and needs. That listening is the core of my practice as a celebrant, and it means that I create every ceremony anew, inspired by you. I work with you to mark the turning points in your life with a ceremony that is personal, beautiful, and meaningful. I bring my love of language and music, my expressive voice, and my life experience to create a rich and memorable ceremony for you, your families and your friends. My working life has focused on arts education, most recently as a professor at Queen's University. I continue to rely on our three daughters and their partners and friends to keep me current in thought, new media, and the arts. I rely on my women’s group - we've been meeting monthly for 27 years – to grant me their wisdom and keep me humble, and I rely on my husband to make me laugh every morning before breakfast.
